New album from GAME OVER finally available!

Italian thrashers GAME OVER have finally released their new album For Humanity through My Graveyard Productions!

If you haven't heard Game Over yet, check out the taste of their new album below with the song Mountains of Madness (with no relation to Diamond Plate!). These guys crank out some killer old-school thrash.

Game Over offers a bunch of web links to help purchase the new album, but the best way would be contact the band directly through their Facebook page or hit up My Graveyard Productions here.

Tantara's debut to be released by Ultimhate Records!

In case you didn't know, TANTARA have a deal with Ultimhate Records to release the thrash band's highly anticipated debut album (title unknown as of this writing).

Ultimhate, home to another thrash band favorite ESSENCE, will release the album on March 23rd. As of this writing, I don't know if it will be released worldwide or not. I hope it is because I know many thrash fans who can't wait to get their sweaty little hands on this album - me included.

For me, this album closes the gap on a series of awesome days. March 22nd is my birthday. March 24th and 25th is the Kansas City Planet Comicon. March 26th is my wife's birthday. All that was missing was something cool to happen on March 23rd. Thanks, Tantara!

I really dig the new album single Trapped in Bodies, and I am ready for more!

New HeadCrusher album available as pay-what-you-want download!

The mighty HeadCrusher has just released their new 7-song album Let the Blood Run for digital download on Bandcamp.

If you don't remember these guys, I raved about them a couple months ago here. Now HeadCrusher is back with a new release that is available for whatever you want to pay (beginning at $1). That's quite a deal. The money they make on fan "donations" will go directly to press physical CD copies of Let the Blood Run.

Check out the streams below, buy the album here, and if you haven't yet, Facebook them here.

New Tantara song!

Oh, yeah! Thashmasters TANTARA have released the song Trapped in Bodies, which will be included on their upcoming full-length album.

The track sounds amazing, full of sharp riffs, epic solos, and straight-ahead head banging thrash.

So mark this as the beginning of a huge metal onslaught Tantara will unleash soon after the new year. If the rest of the new album is as good as Trapped in Bodies, Tantara will have a jump start on the best thrash album of 2012.

Check out the song below!

Lich King teaser to...Born of the Bomb!

Lich King have announced Born of the Bomb as the title of their upcoming 4th album in a video teaser released earlier today.

I am hyper excited to hear this album. The rough mix of Combat Mosh is killer, as is the background music to the teaser vid. Let us not forget that the cover art is one of the best, most eye-catching of all the Lich King albums (in my humble opinion).

So when is Born of the Bomb going to be out? Dunno. I imagine sometime next year, but I hope it is sooner than later. When I find out, I'll let ya'll know.

Check out the teaser below.

4arm's title track from Submission for Liberty

Yes, I just posted about 4ARM, but they recently released the title track from their upcoming album Submission for Liberty and I had to share.

If this song is any indication of what we can expect on 4arm's third album, then we're in for something freaking epic. The title track is a thunderous slab of hard-hitting thrash that had me smiling in disbelief at how much it thoroughly crushes any doubt on the state of the NWOTM. Simply awesome.

I can't wait to hear more.

Check out the stream for Submission for Liberty here and then go check out their official site.

The new Lich King song: Combat Mosh!

Here we go! A sliver of what is to become the 4th album by the mighty Lich King: a new song titled Combat Mosh!

What a perfect song to release as a promise of what is to come. Combat Mosh runs us down with a neck-snapping main riff, and backs over us with a combination of equally crushing chorus riffs and solos.

It also must be noted that the Lichmaster's vocals have never sounded better. I can't wait until album #4!

Now, before I actually put on a Lich King cheerleader uniform and do a little dance as the world's biggest fanboy, please listen to the song yourself. All kidding aside, this is a cut of killer metal.

I guarantee that Combat Mosh is going to become a circle-pit classic.

Dr. Livingdead's new cover art!

I had no idea until about 30 minutes ago that Dr. Livingdead has a new album coming out soon. When? I dunno. Last I heard they were working on new material, but it looks like they secured a deal with High Roller Records.

Check out the killer album cover.

Now check out one of their latest tunes.

Man, I'm glad to see these guys back! I'll request again: Come to the States!!

Demiricous have new tunes! Demo release show!

This is old news for some folks, but since I freaking love Demiricous, I thought I would go ahead and pimp the news of their upcoming show.

Fans of the band should know that Demiricous have been working on new material. They will unleash the sonic beast on March 10th, a demo release concert at the Vollrath Tavern in Indianapolis.

Demiricous will play with Master, Lightning Swords of Death, Mobile Deathcamp, and Nak'ay.

I'm anxious to hear the new stuff. Their first two releases of blistering and uncompromising death/thrash should have put them at the top of the NWOTM. Let's hope they can snag a new deal and get them on the road!!

Lazarus A.D.'s new album

February is looking to be a great month in thrash (for me). Not only am I going to see the Death Angel/Lazarus A.D./Early Man/Bonded by Blood/Hexen/Hammerlord concert on the 11th, but it looks like Lazarus is releasing their new album "Black Rivers Flow" on the 1st!

Hee hee!

I hope to snag a copy so I can drink in the new tunes before hearing them performed live.
